7.) Tverskaya Street

Considered the fashionable street of Russia, you will also find expensive boutiques here and restaurants and cafes frequented by both locals and foreigners. This is a popular tourist destination located in St. Petersburg and is also the city’s main attraction. If you are an art lover, then this is a place you should visit as it is home to some of the world-famous artists’ paintings – artists like Da Vinci and Rembrandt and Michelangelo and many more. Here, you have the option of taking a guided tour (where you learn more about the history of the artworks and the artists themselves) or not.

10.) Peter and Paul Fortress

If you know the history of the Romanovs, then you will love this place. This is the resting place of the Romanov Tsars. You should also see the church, which is also a tourist attraction.
